I’ve got an approach to visibility that works for women in business who would rather stay behind the scenes doing the work and not shouting about it. Fear not, it isn’t the far too common, dry, superficial, meaningless content that is plaguing the internet right now in an attempt to ‘please the algorithm’.


That’s just not me because when you put people - real, passionate, messy humans - at the centre and are not afraid to have a bit of fun with it, you get compelling and down right sexy content that gets your perfect clients thinking “Hell yes, I’m with her!”


Yes it’s tempting to stick with the familiar of not posting anything, panicking, posting a load trying to replicate everyone else’s success, and then getting tired and frustrated ON REPEAT. But where does that get you? Not helping as many people as you’d like to month after month that’s for sure.
 
 
 

Content you can get behind

While I do suggest you post content consistently, I do encourage you to sell your services, and I do take guidance from metrics, I’m not going to ask you to sell out just to get more views, comments and likes. 

In the grand scheme of things, that doesn’t matter. What matters is how many potential clients know you, like you and trust you enough to reach out to you for help. 

That’s worth stepping into the spotlight for. That’s worth raising your voice for. That’s worth getting out of your cosy introvert comfort zone for. 

Before you run away and hide under the duvet - metaphorical or literal - and forget about working on being visible to your ideal client through content marketing for another month or two or three… This is what I want you to know about creating content for your business:

  • You can do it.

  • You can do it consistently. 

  • You can do it consistently and with heart.

I know that because that’s what I do with my clients day after day. I combine my love of writing from childhood with my technical knowledge learnt through studying Creative Writing at university, and my experience of creating content for small businesses since 2020 with a generous dash of care and empathy to help my clients be visible in a way that feels good to them.
